Telemetry sectors are software-defined thirds of the selected completed lap (S1 0–33%, S2 33–67%, S3 67–100%). They are not physical ARC timing sectors. Full throttle means ≥95%; coast means ≤5% throttle with brake released.

Consistency is the standard deviation of completed lap times; a lower value means the driver repeated their lap time more closely.

* Approximate controller-button count from sampled ARC telemetry. Quick presses can be missed, and this does not represent confirmed physical lane changes. ARC-reported lane-change double-taps are shown separately.

Which browsers are supported?

Use a current desktop version of Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge. Race Control requires the Web Bluetooth API to connect to ARC Pro hardware. Safari and Firefox do not currently provide the Web Bluetooth support required by this app.

What computer has Race Control been tested on?

The primary hardware test environment is a Mac running macOS with Google Chrome/Chromium and Scalextric ARC Pro hardware. An exact laptop model is not a requirement; a compatible desktop or laptop with Bluetooth and a supported Chromium browser is recommended.

Which Scalextric hardware is this for?

Race Control has been developed and hardware-tested with Scalextric ARC Pro Digital. Controller selectors 1–6 map to Cars 1–6, with Start/Finish timing used for lap detection.

Does it need an internet connection?

The race-control logic runs in your browser, but the live site must be loaded over HTTPS because Web Bluetooth is only available in a secure browser context.

Does it work on phones or tablets?

The interface is responsive, but the recommended event setup is a desktop or laptop. Mobile devices have not been the primary hardware test environment for this release.

Is this an official Scalextric product?

No. NixScalextric ARC Race Control is an independent project and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Hornby Hobbies Ltd.
